Well, in the case of Poly-clip, it looks like an entire brand universe consisting of marketing, sales and e-learning. Once stored correctly, all product information (PIM), media (DAM) and customer data (CRM) can be accessed practically anywhere from any connected application. As a committed Drupal agency, we naturally chose the Drupal content management system (CMS). The requirements were high. The world's largest provider of clip fastener solutions is active in over 145 countries. The specific characteristics of all markets had to be combined in a global website, taking into account the individuality of the markets and languages in a multi-country and multi-language approach. Machine translation (DeepL and Google Translator interface) saves time and money when internationalizing the content. A very well thought-out search offers maximum user experience and acts as a central part of the site navigation across all pages of the Poly-clip ecosystem. All of this is presented in our cross-media corporate design, which we also developed as part of the brand relaunch.

Gain efficiency through interfaces to PIM and DAM

Product data for more than 60 machines with 100 attributes: That alone is a large amount of data to maintain. Then there are also images, PDFs and videos for the individual products. This can be managed efficiently with our all-in-one solution consisting of PIM (Product Information Management), DAM (Digital Asset Management) and Drupal CMS, which smartly links product information, media and applications. This is exactly what we used for the faceted product search developed by Poly-clip. Once stored correctly, this content can be accessed practically anywhere from any connected application.

Extending the digital cosmos to the sales app

And the digital universe continues to grow - with the development of our sales app. This consumes the data from the DAM and makes it available to sales and consulting in a well-structured way. The lead app, a module of the sales app, also displays the contacts and preferences of potential customers that the sales team records at trade fairs, for example. And the highlight: from order forms and price lists to brochures, the machine manufacturer can also access any content available online offline via our digital sales app in a modern UX design - in case the internet goes on strike during a sales call. We have developed another solution for this setting: Our touch app makes it possible to experience Poly-clip's innovative technology via tablets and large monitors while talking to trade fair visitors.

Marketing automation and central user management

And how does marketing actually benefit from this? We also have a solution for this: after transfer to the "My Poly-clip" customer relationship management system, all data such as certificates, videos, handouts and brochures for the machines are stored centrally and available for partners and agencies to download. An intelligent search and watch list are included. Thanks to the integration of our identity provider, all users can be managed centrally.
